Scattering of Ashes
Scattering of Ashes
Some people hold a special service to scatter the ashes of their loved one. This may occur soon after the funeral or as part of a Life Celebration, or perhaps on an anniversary of their death.
With permission, ashes can be scattered in a variety of locations such as on private land, at the beach, in a river, in a park or at sea. Selecting a place that is significant can hold great meaning and may assist with the process of healing.
Allow me to create a unique ceremony and guide you when you scatter the ashes of your loved one.

Additional Information
A travel fee applies to distances greater than 50km from Charlestown (Hunter region) or Armidale (New England region), including rehearsals. It is calculated using the current ATO cents-per-kilometre rate.
A $100 booking fee is required before proceeding after our initial free, no-obligation meeting.
It is essential to obtain permission from the owners of private land, the Trust of Parks and Reserves, or the local council for parks, beaches and playing fields, as scattering ashes may contravene the provisions of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 regarding air or water pollution. Councils and other Government Authorities will set a time and place for when these activities can be undertaken and may impose other conditions.
Disposal of ashes without consent from the appropriate authorities may result in legal proceedings being initiated against the person disposing of the ashes.
